Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the HD Video Downloader & Player mobile application ("the Application"), developed and published by Annovasol Technologies (Private) Limited ("Annovasol", "we", "us") as a free, ad-supported service. It explains what information the Application processes, why, and the choices you have.
In short:we don't ask for your name, email or phone number, and your downloaded files stay on your device. Links you choose to download are processed by our server to find the video. To keep the Application free and improve it, we use Google AdMob and Google Firebase, which use device identifiers and usage information as described below.
1. Information We Process
- Links you submit: when you paste, share or confirm a video link, the link is processed by our server (api.annovasol.com) only to find the downloadable video and its available qualities. Like any online service, our server receives standard connection information such as your IP address. Server logs are kept only as long as needed to operate, secure and improve the service, and are then deleted. We do not sell this information or use it to identify you.
- Clipboard: when you open or return to the Application, it checks your clipboard on your device for a newly copied video link so it can offer to download it. Clipboard content stays on your device unless you choose to download the detected link.
- WhatsApp statuses:if you use the Status Saver, you choose the WhatsApp status folder yourself through Android's folder picker. The Application only reads that folder on your device to show and save statuses. Nothing from it is uploaded.
- Downloaded media and settings: saved videos and images are stored in your device's gallery (Movies / Pictures > "HD Video Downloader"). Your library list, link history and settings are stored only on your device.
2. Third-Party Services
The Application uses the following Google services, which collect information under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising): collects device and advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), IP address and approximate location derived from it, device information, and ad interaction data, in order to show, measure and personalise ads and to prevent fraud.
- Google Firebase Analytics: collects app usage events (for example screens viewed and downloads started, with the website domain only, never the full link), an app instance identifier and device information, to help us understand and improve the Application.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics: collects crash reports and diagnostic information (device model, OS version, app state at the time of a crash or failed download) to help us fix bugs.
- Google Firebase Remote Config: fetches app configuration settings; it uses an app instance identifier.

3. Advertising Consent and Your Choices
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Application asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: open Settings > Privacy Policy in the Application and choose Manage ad consent.
- You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in your device's Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device).
4. Device Permissions
- Internet and network state: to resolve links, download media and check Wi-Fi when "Wi-Fi only" is enabled.
- Notifications and foreground service: to keep downloads you started running in the background and to show their progress.
- Keep device awake and Wi-Fi state: so downloads you started can finish smoothly while the screen is off.
- Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob as described above.
The Application does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location.
5. Content Policy & Disclaimer
The Application does not support downloading from YouTube.
Only download content you own or have permission to download. You are responsible for respecting copyright and the terms of the platforms you use. To report content concerns, contact us at the address below.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Library, history and settings stored in the Application are removed when you uninstall it or clear its data.
- Videos and images saved to your gallery remain on your device until you delete them (from the Application's Library or your gallery app).
- Data collected by Google services is retained according to Google's policies. To request deletion of data associated with you, contact us at the address below.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
